In the absence of the Traveline, I can confirm that our arrangements for travel to this home game (Sunday 11th December with a 1.30 p.m. kick-off) will be by Grand Central travelling up on the 16.48 from Kings Cross on the Saturday and returning from Sunderland at 18.12 on the Sunday.

Fare as usual £38 for Adults and £19 for Children and holders (to be shown on the train) of Senior Railcards.  Cheques of EFT transfer confirmations to me please at my new address :

For the Martin O'Neill and Gary Bennett shows!

Yes, being an overnight trip and stay is a bit of a nuisance but you'll surely want to suffer that to be at the Stadium of Light to welcome our new manager and cheer on whatever team he chooses for his first game?

And Gary Bennett's visit has taken on a new dimension as he'll no doubt have much to say about Steve Bruce's departure and his hopes for the way forward.

Bookings for both are a bit slow at present. Whether it's the start of the Christmas post congestion, or due to my house move, who knows. So, if you've sent bookings to either in the last day or so, it would be helpful if you could email me at traceytravelsafc@aol.com to let me know it's "in the post". And if you haven't booked for Gary yet, I hope to hear from you soon.
