Sunderland Ladies striker Beth Mead added another honour to her already extensive portfolio when she was presented with the Women’s Young Player of the Year trophy at the Professional Footballers’ Association award ceremony in London. On the same day and on home soil the Ladies reserve team secured the Development League Championship with a 3-0 home win against Everton Ladies with 3 more games still to play.
