Wembley Beckons!

Following their Quarter-Final win against Reading on Sunday, SAFCLadies have been drawn away to Arsenal in the Semi-Final to be played at Borehamwood FC on Sunday 17th April with a 2.00 p.m. kick-off.  This game provides a wonderful opportunity for us to attend en masse and cheer the girls to qualify for the Final at Wembley.

Tuesday 5th April has in fact but a celebratory day overall for the Lasses.

Victoria Williams, who scored her first SAFC Ladies goal on Sunday, celebrated her 26th birthday.

Then keeper Rachel Laws, who has been on fine form this season, was called up to the England Senior squad for their games this Friday (7.30 on BBC2) against Belgium and on 12th April away to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Finally, in their Qualifier game in Sweden for the Championship Finals in Slovakia in the Summer, England U-19s winning 1-0 goal against Austria was from a free kick provided by Sunderland’s Emma Kelly!

Haway the Lasses!
